I’ve never really been into lottery tickets. But I do have to admit, the idea of something revealing itself simple by scratching it with a quarter sounds like MAGIC. I grew up being that annoying kid who thinks they can literally travel the world. For years I wanted a big map so that I could pin down the places I had visited. But no map ever fit the part.
One gloomy afternoon I decided to head to East London—The Old Spitafields Market to be exact. I was in search for a semi-well known coffee shop and a nice afternoon stroll. But lucky for me, I found way more than that. I found my map. It’s a scratch-in map with a beautiful shinny black background. So I ran into the café, grabbed a warm cappuccino and began scratching.
