An extremly trendy cafe/gourmet market & deli has just opened it’s doors in Allston, and the neighborhood couldn’t be happier. Bee’s Knees Supply Co. opened about a month, replacing the good ol’ Joshua Tree. It’s truly a perfect addition to Allston. A wonderful place to get quick groceries, have a cup of coffee, a filling sandwich, or even a cute little pet plant to decorate the house.

They serve a variety of unique sandwhiches, salads, juices, beers and coffee. I’m a lover of anything duck, so obviously their duck sandhwich caught my eye. I swallowed it up in seconds.

I went over to get some lunch a couple weeks ago and couldn’t be happier with what I saw. The space is pretty large, which was unexpected. In the entrance stands a huge bar, where one can order salads, juices, smoothies, coffee, and much more. Surrounding the bar are small food stands and shelfs filled with yummy groceries. The deli can be found at the far end of the room.

The decorations are also pretty unbelievable. White brick surrounds the area, two white bikes hang from the ceiling, there’s modern and trendy seating areas, and best of all: a big sign that reads “Allston” hangs on the wall.

Go get some produce or an easy and yummy lunch whenver you’re in the area. It’s right across from the Griggs St. stop on the B Line. It’s open Monday through Friday from 7am to 10pm, Saturday from 8am to 10pm and Sunday from 8am to 6pm. Their Fall Hours will be announced soon, so keep a look out.
